Cole's 2nd Birthday Party

Here are a few pics of Coles Birthday Party. We had an Elmo theme complete with Elmo pinata. We decided to have it at the Millenium Beach Park this time and it worked out great. I think everyone had a good time.

Here is Cole stepping in front of the camera when my mom was trying to take a pic of Caia...I guess it's ok since it is his birthday after all:)

...the Benz

Chris was recently given a Mercedes Benz as a loaner and needless to say he is thrilled. Infact, I'm sure this car gets better treatment than ME! Haha!

Detailing the garage for the Benz ... and yes Cole helped in this way the whole time...

Cole enjoying a ride in the "Benz."

the whole fam in the shiny and newly detailed Benz:)

Caia as BEAUTIFUL as she is ... my goodness!

Lately...

Lately, we have been taking walks to the beach in the afternoon and decided to take a few pictures this time and also take his new shovel and pail to dig the sand and collect shells. He kept saying "waves" and "swimming." He becomes quite upset if he can not swim in the waves...but hey, it was sooo cold...brrrrr!

Early morning holding his sister after several requests to "take her" and "hold this."

Patiently waiting for his pizza at his friend Rydyr's 4th birthday.

Caia also enjoying Rydyr's birthday party:)

Also Around Christmas

ZOO!

Cole and Dada playing "Pay - oh's" - or play-doh rather:)

Cole and Dada playing "tooos" - or tools rather:)

Around Christmas 2008

This was actually on Christmas Day. We ate at the COVE! HAHA! Complete with live music - mainly Neil Diamond covers:). My mom, stepdad, Chris and Cole pictured here :)

Opening presents...

With Chris parents...

Loves the pressure washer, too, although I'm not sure what's going on here:) Maybe he's dancing with it??

Belly pic during the very last of my pregnancy.

Drop it like it's HOT! He actually was dancing here and I DO not know where he is getting his moves from:)

Cole is amazed I am actually encouraging him to go near the tree. I was trying to get a picture of him for Christmas here instead of always telling him to play with his other toys. I'm quite certain he was very confused in these pictures.

Posting Hiatus

Because of much technical difficulty...again...I have not been able to post pics and since I really don't like to blog without pics, I just have waited to post until I had a way. A million things have happened since I posted last, but mainly we added to our family, a baby girl we named Caia Soleil born January 5, 2009. I will post pics of her later, in the mean time here are a few to get you caught up on.

How lucky am I that my kid LOVES to swiffer and vacuum!

Story time at the library with TT (Melanie's Mom).

Thanksgiving with the Palladino's...

"BACK-YOU!" - this is how Cole pronounces "vacuum" and he always says it really loud and several several times...guess I shouldn't mind as long as he's willing to use it on my floors:)

Trying to figure out what this strange looking chair is in our garage. This was before Caia was here just yet:)

Lego my Lego

Our friend, Jason Terreri, came down for Florida Tech Alumni Weekend this October. We were unable to participate in our Alumni Weekend this year due to my being on bedrest, etc., but Jason was still gracious enough to stop by on his way out of town to visit with us and to drop off a few gifts for the kiddos - one being a set of those large legos. I had been meaning to get Cole some as I saw he had an interest in toys like that, but thanks to the Terreri's - mission already accomplished! Hooray! AND Cole loves the legos. Most of the time he sends the legos down his slide, hides them here and there throughout the house and uses the lid to the lego container as a sitting spot and, yes, ever so often he does get around to building things with the legos. Here are some pics I took of him playing with the legos yesterday.

Thanks, Terreri Family!!!

Back Up Bunny

In the past, I have posted about a certain "Bunny" or "Lovey" that Cole has a super obsession with. My parents have recently blessed us with another bunny to have as back up. This is nice because now, I can wash one while he dirties the other one up. The new bunny also says the prayer like the original one did. For the first few seconds of introducing the newest bunny member, Cole looked a little shocked, but I am talking like a few seconds, then he was THRILLED! He ran all around with the two bunnies in hand. A while back Chris had taken a xerox of the bunny to see if Cole would know it was bunny and of course Cole knew exactly what it was. Well, when we received the second bunny from my parents he lined up the two bunnies and the picture of the bunny and was even MORE thrilled. Too funny.

EEZY PEEZY - or not

Melanie and fam bought Cole and Baby Girl an EEZY PEEZY activity center which is soooo great and Cole loves it. It is quite small and fits nicely in the front area where the rest of his toys are. He loves the slide most of all and crawls in and out of the rest of it. He is slightly big for the swing, but that part will be perfect with Baby Girl! Anyway, thank you, TT Melanie!

The name EEZY PEEZY I thought was supposed to elude to how easy the assembly is, however, after all night of assembly, I decided it was not so eezy peezy:) BUT worth every minute!
