Actually, the real story is her mom and dad (Kevin and Ashley) went to get hitched in Vegas during the week of July 10 - 14 and we had the rare privilege of baby sitting their "baby". . . rumor has it this is the first time the "rents" have ever left her with anyone but family :). And to beat it all, Fenway was very low maintenance, endlessly entertaining and settled into life at the Marot household (which is very laid back) in no time at all.
If anyone has read our previous blogs you would have noticed that Kevin and Ashley (Fenway's parents) also watch Buddy when we go out of town.
Another bit of info is that Fenway is also a Boston Terrier . . . can you say RED SOX FANS!!!!???!!!
We thought it was really fun to be able to pick Fenway up (as we have an 80 something pound chocolate lab) and show her things and just give her hugs and loves at our level. She happened to love looking at the fish once I showed them to her and so would watch them for several minutes at a time once she caught a glimpse of the little buggers.
I took some camera video of Chris playing with the dogs together, but it was too dark and did not come out. . . I did get some pictures at least. . .
