Bunny Love

Cole has a favorite bed buddy - a bunny that Mom gave him. It used to say the "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" prayer until I guess we played it out and now doesn't work. The bunny apparently kept its appeal as Cole still looks for it first thing when I put him for a nap and goes to bed for the night.

Pool Moment

It was slightly cool out and since I put him in the shade (I didn't feel like putting sunblock on him), I left his pajama top on. And I'm sure he'll appreciate this picture when he's a teenager ;)

Big Wave Baby

I wanted to do something special since Chris was home for the weekend. It was an especially nice day out today, so I thought the beach might be fun. And it was. It was nice and warm with a nice breeze. The water was ice cold so, no, we didn't go surfing. This was a very special event because it was Cole's first time having a beach day. Although he had visited the beach here and there, these were very short lived - just squishing his feet in the sand for a few minutes type thing. He had a grand time rubbing the sunblock in his eyes, attempting to eat the sand, and chewing on sea shells. He also really enjoyed being near the water and watching the waves - which is a good sign considering he will be going surfing with mom and dad - often:)

Excuses, Excuses...

Several people have been wondering why no posts lately. Well, my excuse this time is that I lost my camera (or it was stolen). I bought a new camera, then lost it and have only recently been able to bring myself to buy another new one. And, to beat it all, I dont think this camera is quite as good as my other one for whatever reason, albeit the same exact model. So, there maybe another short hiatus if this one goes back to the store...havent quite decided yet...we'll see. Anyway, here are a few recent pictures of Chris and Cole playing and Cole practicing standing. Chris was home after being gone for 3 weeks and the two were inseparable.
