Only a few short weeks after being home, Cole was projectile vomiting several times a day and was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis. It is a fatal condition unless treated surgically. So we were back in the hospital for 4 more days. We were then charged with caring for a postop baby who shouldn't have even been out of the womb for another 2 weeks.
Since I wanted to breastfeed, I was made to pump then feed it to him for several reasons. My pediatrician said it is like feeding twins because you are doing double the work of pumping and then bottle feeding it to him (his wife had twins). And so you see I have a solid case for not posting:)
Since after the surgery, Cole is doing fantastic. He is now in the 90th percentile for his age. I feel we are able to relax more and just have fun. We are just so proud of him. You can see mad pictures of Cole if you go to www.chrisandmisty.com
I am able to take a leave from work to see him grow this year which has been priceless. I wasn't sure how this whole staying home thing was going to work out, but now I am sure to take leave for at least a few more years.
The latest is Cole and I go to BCC Lab School together now. It might be similar to those Mommy and Me classes I've heard about, but not totally sure since Ive never been to those.
Anyway, you can expect regular posts and pics on this blog from now until I am pregnant again (aaaggghhh, I can't believe Im even saying that!)in which case it will likely be another year hiatus from posting. I will post a few pics here, but if you want to look through a ton of pictures and download and print pics, go to:

Here are a few pics taken lately that are not on the other website mentioned earlier:
